Dear precious community and future partners,
Thank you for considering being one of our incredible sponsors. Your personal and business gifts help make what we do possible. Please join us in celebrating a groundbreaking 2026 — and consider partnering for a very hope filled 2027.
We open Pearl Street Urban Farm to families in SW Washington and Oregon who have a child in cancer treatment. Once a month we host a beautiful farm experience for children in treatment and their families. Volunteers — post-treatment and from the wider community — help make time at the farm special. In 2026, year to date, we have had more than 150 volunteers at the farm and 100 visitors whose lives have been touched by pediatric cancer. By season’s end we will have given away thousands of pounds of food, thousands of flower stems, and a gazillion smiles with a side of glorious hope.
In January 2026, Embrace Compassion became a licensed agency training adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in pre-employment skill building. We have served 20 adults this year and celebrated our first person placed in a real job. Our learners volunteer right alongside everyone else — and that partnership helps Embrace Compassion shine.
We are so grateful for companies that showed up big in 2026 with a volunteer presence: Genentech, Intel, Deloitte, Tualatin Rotary, George Fox University students, and more.

Embrace Compassion offers year-round farm experiences for children in cancer treatment and their families. We create community, share hope, and bring brightness. Interactive farm experiences, hand-curated take-home boxes, and a great big hug are all from a community who says, “You are not alone!” Moms, dads, siblings, and the child with cancer all have a place to belong.
Covered wagon dutch-oven food, a 150-year-old apple cider press, candle dipping, corn husk dolls, a stone sharpener, antique farm equipment and more, will be available to experience in interactive booths hosted by volunteers. Our adult learners help host. Your sponsorship makes childhood brightness — and skill-building for adults — possible for a BRIGHT 2027.
